The cyanotype is a 19th century photographic process developed by Sir John Herschel that employs potassium ferricyanide, ferric ammonium citrate, and UV light to create brilliant blue images. Darren Oberto has explored and exploited the medium to carry out a myriad of concepts that result in stimulating and beautiful images.
Exhibition runs September 8 – October 27.
Join us for a reception Saturday, October 6, 5-8pm.
